Solution to "ORA-12569: TNS:packet checksum failure" Problem
While i was trying to run a full table scan on one of our test servers, i was facing the following error.
Each time I clicked the OK button the system was showing a message saying "Not connected to oracle", and i had to connect to the database again.
Later on after searching the net i have found that the main problem was in oracle's port number. My port number was the default 1521.
So, i just created a new LISTENER with a new port number other than the default one(1521). and guess what, the problem was resolved.
I had to change my tns entry using which i was connecting to the database.
